Dr. Waleed AlSaif
Dr. Waleed AlSaif – Adviser for the Secretary General of the National Council for Culture, Arts, and Letters.
Dr. AlSaif is currently the Representative of the State of Kuwait at the Safeguarding Intangible Cultural Heritage Committee at UNESCO.
He previously held many posts in the Government Sector such as an Economic Advisor of the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee at the Kuwaiti National Assembly, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of the Kuwait Small Projects Development Company, and an Economic Adviser at Kuwait Fund for Arab and Economic Development.
Dr. AlSaif taught Economics and SMEs Development courses at Kuwait University and the Gulf University for Science and Technology. He also gave Training Courses to Kuwaiti Government Executives. Dr. Al-Saif published articles and academic papers in the field of Economics. He also participated in many international and regional economic and financial conferences.
Dr. AlSaif holds a PhD, an MA in Economics, and an MBE from Claremont Graduate University. He also attained a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Kuwait University.
