Mr. Mishaal Al-Usaimi is the Vice Chairman of the Board of Commissioners and acting Managing Director of the Capital Markets Authority (CMA) in Kuwait.

He had assumed several leadership positions including Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Saffar Capital, Assistant General Manager at Mabanee Company, Kuwait, Director of Investments Department, Kuwait Cement Company, and at the Kuwait Investment Office, London.

He also held several Board positions in Kuwait and in the region: Chairman of Zawya Limited Holding, Vice Chairman, Kalaam Telecom. Member of the Board of Directors for International Investment Company and Elaj Medical Services.

Mr. Mishaal Al-Usaimi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Finance and Marketing) from the University of San Diego, USA.
